Biographical note
Nikos Hatzieleftheriou (Athens, 1965) is a guitarist, composer, and teacher at the National Conservatory in Athens. He has dedicated a great part of his artistic and educational work (which includes numerous performances at the best-known concert halls and at international festivals, as well as discography, music editions and radio and television presentations), to the arrangement, transcription and adaptation of works from all genres and periods for the guitar and for guitar ensembles.
In the present series of editions, he presents works from the Baroque era for guitar ensembles.
These works have been recorded by the GUITARTE ENSEMBLE and are available on CD (“Traces” and “4 Concerti grossi … a preparar l’avvenire”) from Ekfrassis Productions.
